From BAFTA Award-winning reality TV show The Only Way Is Essex to Bear Grylls: The Island, Celebrity SAS, Celebs Go Dating, Celebrity MasterChef, to the radio and podcasting with pal Sam Thompson on chart-topping Staying Relevant, and now this year on Strictly Come Dancing, Pete Wicks has never been far from public life. 

But behind the tattoos, humour, swearing and nonsense, Pete feels emotions deeply, and despite seemingly being at the most successful point of his career, things haven't always been easy. 

Very much a work-in-progress, Pete reveals the lessons he has learnt, the good, the bad and the ugly, calling time on toxic positivity, the damaging impact of social media, the pressures of masculinity and the desire to remain relevant; along with touching on grief, love and friendship. 

Through owning his own s**t and refusing to let it own him, Pete hopes others will feel empowered to do the same.
