Waiting List

You can add yourself to the waiting list via the website or by speaking to the Box Office for any sold out performance. Adding your name to the waiting list does not guarantee tickets. We may contact you by phone or email when tickets become available. We also release tickets via @lsqtheatre on Twitter and Facebook, and any returned tickets are sold on a strictly first come first served basis.

Refunds and Exchanges

We do our best to accommodate exchanges where possible. However, we are only able to exchange tickets to another date or time of the same show no later than 72 hours before the start time of the event for which the original booking has been made. If the request is made within 72 hours then we may offer to try to re-sell your tickets as an alternative but this will be dependant upon the number of tickets remaining.

Any tickets resold will be refunded in full to a Gift Voucher. This is valid for 18 months and can be used for any show at Leicester Square Theatre or the Museum of Comedy. Alternatively if the show you have tickets for is part of a run we can swap your tickets to a different date, subject to availability.

We are unable to offer a refund unless there are exceptional circumstances and only at the company's complete discretion. Please note that Covid is no longer considered an exceptional circumstance. Refunds are processed (minus booking fees) to the card used for purchase.

We are unable to make any changes to a booking once the start time of the show has passed.

We appreciate that transport strikes are frustrating and can make attending pre-booked performances difficult however we are not able to refund based on these external factors unless the performance is cancelled.

Resales

Tickets are non transferable. If you sell or purchase tickets for this event via a reseller such as Seatwave, Viagogo, GetMeIn, TicketsNow, StubHub or Ebay or any outlet other than Leicester Square Theatre or one of its authorised agents the ticket will be cancelled without refund.

Building Overview

The theatre is in the basement of the Notre Dame de France church on Leicester Place. There are fourteen steps down to the main foyer and then a further six steps down to the auditorium itself, which is all on one level. The toilets are seven steps down from the main foyer.

The Lounge Bar is a further level below and sixteen stairs down from the main foyer.

The side stalls face inwards and have a side-on view of the stage. If you have any questions about your booking or seat selection please contact the Box Office.

Access Booking

The theatre has a powered stair climber which can be used to access the Main House, however it does require users to transfer from wheelchair to the climber, and then back to their wheelchair or to a seat once inside the auditorium. As such the venue is not accessible for large electric wheelchairs. Please note that our stair climber has a weight limit of 16 stone.

Assistance dogs are permitted in the auditorium. Alternatively a member of staff will be happy to care for your dog during the show.

Wheelchair users and assistance dog owners are asked to contact boxoffice@leicestersquaretheatre.com in advance of booking tickets as not all seating areas will be suitable.

Leicester Square Theatre offers one complimentary Carer ticket to those accompanying someone with access needs. Our definition of a Carer is someone whom you require to assist you in order to facilitate your visit to Leicester Square Theatre and without whom you would be unable to attend.

Frequently Asked Questions

I haven’t received my confirmation email?

The confirmation email comes from leicestersquaretheatre@yourtheatretickets.com and sometimes can be found in your Junk Mail folder. The Box Office are able to resend the confirmation email; contact them with your order reference number and it can be resent. Alternatively, bring a valid form of ID and your order reference number and you will be able to collect your tickets on the door.

Print at home doesn’t work what should I do?

Bring a valid form of ID and your order reference number and you will be able to collect your tickets on the door.

What time does the show start?

The advertised time of a show is its start time. Any show that does not have a support artist listed will mean that the main artist is on at the advertised start time. Some shows do not permit latecomers; please arrive ahead of the advertised start time to ensure entry.

Booking online won't let me leave a single seat?

If you are receiving the error message 'your current seat selection leaves a single seat' then this is in place in order to encourage customers to choose seats where there is not a single seat left behind. These single seats are difficult for the venue to sell, and so we appreciate it if customers can make a different seat selection. If this is not possible then please contact the Box Office.

If your question is not answered by these FAQs please contact the Box Office.
